The love for 50 Cent’s classic debut, Get Rich or Die Tryin’, was rekindled this week in light of its 10-year Anniversary (we picked the 10 best tributes here), but we weren’t the only ones inspired. The man himself blesses the world with a brand new record today entitled “Financial Freedom.” Visually, it’s a pretty simple affair, but that places the spotlight purely on Fif as he channels that old energy of the early ’00s to bully the harsh, thumping beat. We won’t be mad if this lands on Street King Immortal.
This was inspired by 10 years anniversary of GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN. I wrote the song so everytime I hear it it reminds me of it. I wrote it the day before yesterday, shot yesterday. It took me longer to find the beat than to actually write it. I didn’t shoot the 3rd verse for you to focus on the lyrics. No GIRLS, no JEWELRY, RAW ENERGY , its just me. Check it out.
Check out the new 50 after the jump…

50 will never catch up to Rick Ross. The Bawse has the whole industry respecting him. 50 is even hated by his own label (Interscope).

I am a big 50 Cent fan and I remember the impact GRDT had when it came out.
I enjoy reading 50′s ventures and how he structures deals more than I enjoy listening to some of his music.
Every time I see him drop an album, I’m like whats the point he has a body of work that will allow him to tour for years.
GRDT
Massacre
GRDT Soundtrack
Forever King
Curtis
BISD
I think just tour and do features and focus on where the real money is, his brand extensions.

This is where hiphop left off, the soulful samples and the art of storytelling before it went over over blown ego and the ‘I’ did it Mcee.

I have been boycotting 50 cent for years now ever since he lost the bet to Kanye West and the fact 50 is still releasing music goes to show this guy aint a man of he’s word, I watched the video and half way thru it turned into a advertisement for hes headphones.
You guys are welcome to boycott Too
