50 Cent has been making stops at various media outlets this week to promote his Formula 50 fitness book. Along with appearances on BET’s 106 & Park and a visit to Katie Couric, 50 reveals to MTV News his new album has been pushed back. Intended to release on February 26, the follow-up to 2010’s Before I Self Destruct won’t arrive until Spring. Lead by the single “My Life” with Eminem and Adam Levine, 50 cites ‘internal changes at Interscope Records’ as reason for the delay.
However, expect his new video for “Major Distribution” with Snoop Dogg and Young Jeezy to arrive later tonight. During his stop at BET, 50 speaks on his new album, importance of fitness, and the possibility of a G-Unit reunion album with Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo. Looking spiffy on Katie Couric’s talkshow, the rapper/entrepreneur discusses his rags to riches story.
