lets be clear; 50s last 3 or 4 projects have been solid but i think the industry is too different these days for an artist like 50 to make an impact (an impact like he did with GRODT). at the time GRODT came out the industry and world was in a different place socially, economically, etc. etc. the timing was perfect for 50 to break through. right now 50 cant win (as far as music is concerned). his die hard fans want GRODT 50 and the mainstream want him to evolve and i think 50 gets caught in two minds sometimes. right now the music is good IMO but its not the sort of music that will make a big impact on the game. but hey i wonder if he even cares. the best thing he can do is to make the music he likes and keep winning off of his brand in the business arena.

Nice tape, now for the album… Ride all Dre beats and hand picked joints from Banks who knows which tracks you flow good on. Do a track with Drake on the hook (yes, Drake) have him pick the beat and everything. Automatic radio spin and single with that. Do 1 dark track with a slow flow and do 1 uptempo track with the girl “Georgi Kay” who sang the hook for Flo Rida’s “In My Mind (Part 2)”… Fill the rest of the album with anything that doesn’t contain “shine, mine, nine, time after time, nickel nine” lyrics. Lastly, no more free sh%t man. You give away 9 bottles no ones gonna buy the 10th, put everything in the vault and shock the world again. Sincerely a fan since 1999.
