Aside from working in studio with Nicki Minaj, Future is gearing up to release the Superfly motion picture soundtrack. Due Jun. 8, Future serves as executive produced on the compilation project in support of the film Superfly, arriving in theatres on Jun. 15. After the PARTYNEXTDOOR-featured “No Shame” and “Walk On Minks,” the Freebandz rapper returns with a new track off the soundtrack.

The record is a collaboration from Future and rising Atlanta star Yung Bans. Hear the two ATLiens ball out below and purchase/stream the song here.

Maroon 5 have become known for their collaborations with artists in the Hip-Hop and R&B world, working with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Future, SZA, and most recently A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. With their “Red Blue Pills” tour kicking off this week, the Pop/Rock band return with a new single “Girls Like You.” The mid-tempo song features Cardi B, who adds a guest verse to the song. The “Bodak Yellow” star also appears in the song’s official music video, loaded with a lot of big name leading ladies. Ellen DeGeneres, Tiffany Haddish, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Camila Cabello, Sarah Silverman make cameos in the visual. The clip ends with the most important girls in Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine’s life, his wife Behati Prinsloo and their daughter Dusty Rose.

Last week, Belly released his new single “What You Want” in anticipation of his upcoming Midnight Zone LP. The XO rapper/songwriter now returns with its music video, co-starring his labelmate The Weeknd. Directed by Colin Tilley, the two escape to another world in the desert, cruising around the sandy road while enjoying the presence of pretty eye-candy inside their pyramid-shaped fortress.

The internet has been in a frenzy, all glued to Drake and Pusha T’s reignited beef. On Tuesday night (May 29), Pusha T dropped the scathing “The Story of Adidion,” taking direct aim at the Canadian superstar. On the song’s artwork, Drake is pictured in black face makeup which immediately caused a stir with many asking questions where the photo came from. Taking by photographer David Lyles, the clothing Drake wears lead many to believe the photoshoot was for the Canadian brand Too Black Guys.

On Wednesday evening (May 30), both Drake and Two Black Guys have released statements addressing the controversial photos.

A day after performing a thrilling sold-out show at Madison Square Garden as a part of TDE’s “The Championship” tour, Kendrick Lamar attended a luncheon at Columbia University on Wednesday (May 30) to accept his Pulitzer Prize. While the event honored the winners of the 2018 Pulitzer Prize, Lamar was the clear star of the day, as many attendees stopped to take selfies and congratulate the Grammy Award-winning artist. “It’s an honor,” said Lamar, who kept his acceptance speech short. “Been writing my whole life, so to get this type of recognition is beautiful.”

The Pulitzer board announced Kendrick Lamar as a winner of the the 2018 Pulitzer Prize for Music for last year’s DAMN. album. The board previously called the project a “virtuosic song collection unified by its vernacular authenticity that offers affecting vignettes capturing the complexity of modern African American life.”

With Drake and Pusha T’s rap beef in full swing, the latter called into The Breakfast Club and stopped by HOT 97 to speak on “The Story of Adidon.” Sitting down with Funkmaster Flex, Pusha T discussed creating DAYTONA with Kanye West, his lethal response to Drake’s “Duppy Freestyle,” their beef going back to The Clipse’s issues with Cash Money Records over a decade ago and Drizzy being pulled in due to affiliation, the subject of ghostwriting, Drake getting help from Quentin Miller vs. Kanye West getting help from other writers, the history of Pusha’s back-and-forth with Drake, G.O.O.D. Music’s flood of music in June, the OVO star crossing the line by mentioning Pusha’s fiancee Virginia Williams on “Duppy Freestyle,” the history of The Clipse and more.

The BET Awards are just a month away, and now the first group of performers have been announced. Nicki Minaj, Migos and Janelle Monáe lead the names set to the hit the stage in June. R&B sensations Ella Mai and H.E.R. also make up the lineup for the annual award show. DJ Khaled leads the pack this year with six nominations, with Kendrick Lamar following close behind with five nods. Both SZA and Migos also earn four nominations each.

Hosted by actor/artist Jamie Foxx, the 2018 BET Awards takes place Sunday, June 24 at 8 p.m EST live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Jay Rock drops the video for his latest single, “Win.” Directed by Dave Meyers and Dave Free, the clip combines trumpets, pyrotechnics, American sports, tribal warfare and even duck hunting into a triumphant video that takes stylistic cues from 300. Plus, it features cameos from his current TDE Championship Tour mates including Kendrick Lamar, SZA, Ab-Soul, Isaiah Rashad, SiR and Lance Skiiiwalker.

After getting us in the groove with “Roll (Burbank Funk)” (which received an even groovier makeover from KAYTRANADA), The Internet increase the buzz for their upcoming Hive Mind LP by sharing this new single, “Come Over.” While Syd, Matt, Steve and co. are keeping the funk alive, it sounds like they’re spreading their wings and soaring even higher on this new album.
