From Me
 

With his Grade A Frequencies project on the horizon, BK’s Stro FKA Astro or The Astronomical liberates the LP’s debut single “From Me.” Featuring vocalist Marco Mckinnis, the record was produced by Jack Dine and serves as the perfect examples of what fans can expect.

Grade A Frequencies is set be released on April 21st. I’ve also included the skilled emcee’s The Flood compilation.

Mack Wilds is everywhere in the new year. The multi-talented entertainer currently stars simultaneously on FOX’s The Breaks and VH1’s Shots Fired. The Grammy-nominated singer also is readying a new project titled AfterHours, set to arrive on April 7. Before that arrives, the Staten Island-native treats us with the song “Explore,” which touches on the subject of a strained relationship and a significant other wanting to take a break and try something different.

DJ Carnage and G-Eazy have teased fans about a collaborative project dating back to 2015. The EDM DJ and Oakland rapper finally join forces, releasing their Step Brothers EP. Recorded in two nights, the 4-track offering is lead by the song “Guala” featuring Thirty Rack. “We did it in two nights,” says G-Eazy, speaking on how the EP came together. “We’ve literally known each other forever and we both worked our asses off for years to come up and make it to this point. We’ve both always had that same level of ambition, even when we were unknown. That’s my brother for life, so we’ll probably keep working together for the rest of our careers.”

Says Carnage, “We started working on this when G came back to reality and noticed how much he needed me in his life… so about 3 months ago.” Featuring appearances by 24hrs and Smokepurpp, get Step Brothers on iTunes and stream below.

Kodak Black has been drowned in legal troubles since his rise to rap stardom. The Pompano Beach rapper currently remains in jail for violating probation earlier this month, as the status of his release is unknown. As Kodak remains locked up, the Florida native moves forward with the release of his debut album Painting Pictures.

The 18-track LP is lead by the Metro Boomin-produced single “Tunnel Vision,” Kodak’s most successful smash-hit to date, currently at 90 million views on YouTube. Bun B, Future, Jeezy, Young Thug and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie all make guest appearances on the album, out now on iTunes.

Following the release of his Red Friday mixtape last November, YG announced plans to drop a new project in 2017 titled Just Re’d Up 3. The mixtape serves as the third installment in the series following 2011’s Just Re’d Up and 2013’s Just Re’d Up 2. Before a release date is given, YG connects with long-time collaborator DJ Mustard on the song “Pop It, Shake It.”

A perfect track for the strip clubs, the song’s vibe is along the line of the pair’s “Left, Right” off 2014’s My Krazy Life. Out now on iTunes, stream it below.
