Thundercat is getting set to release a new album titled Drunk on Feb. 24 via Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder label. Best known for his stellar work on Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy Award-winning To Pimp a Butterfly LP, the bass guitarist/vocalist and King Kendrick connect once again on the song “Walk On By.” A smooth and mellow offering, the track is lead by Thundercat’s laid-back and soothing vocals as the TDE MC appears midway with a guest verse.

Available for pre-order on iTunes, Drunk features appearances by Pharrell, Wiz Khalifa, Michael McDonald & Kenny Loggins. Fans can also catch Thundercat at the 10th annual Roots Picnic, taking place this summer on June 3.

It has been a busy past six days for Future, who released his new self-titled album last week and made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night (Feb. 21). If that isn’t enough, early reports have FUTURE set to debut No. 1 on Billboard next week and the Atlanta rapper is following that up Friday with another full-length project titled HNDRXX.

Before HNDRXX arrives (a more melodic and singing based album), the Atlanta rapper drops his second music video in support of FUTURE.

Future’s new self-titled album is expected to debut No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart next week. The Atlanta rapper made his first public appearance since releasing the project last Friday, appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night (Feb. 21). Backed by DJ Esco, the Freebandz general performed the lead single off FUTURE, “Draco.”

The appearance was broadcasted moments after Future announced he will be releasing his second new album in as many weeks. HNDRXX is set to arrive this Friday (Feb. 22), which can be pre-ordered now on iTunes.
