Marvel’s Luke Cage makes its debut on Netflix today, but that isn’t the only reason to be excited: the series is scored entirely by Adrian Younge and A Tribe Called Quest’s Ali Shaheed Muhammad, which means one of Marvel’s baddest dudes is getting the soundtrack he deserves from one of hip-hop’s best production duos.

Aside from composing Luke Cage‘s musical backdrop, Adrian and Ali have also recorded a full album to accompany the series — and on the first single, they draft in Method Man (who also makes a cameo in the show) for a bulletproof banger. The single is out now on iTunes, while the whole soundtrack drops October 7.

Freddie Gibbs has been found not guilty in the sexual assault case that has kept him detained in Europe since June. The announcement was made by Gibbs’ manager, who wrote on Instagram, “Freddie has been acquitted of the false accusations. He’s coming home a free man.” Gibbs has since arrived back home to his fiancée and infant daughter.
