It’s 2015 and Snoop Dogg and DJ Quik are still lending a hand to the West Coast’s younger generation (I sincerely hope this never changes). As TeeFLii looks to prove himself as a “starr” on his upcoming debut album, the Long Beach and Compton OGs assist the silky-voiced singer on this groovy number dubbed “Addicted.” Warning: the title don’t lie.

TeeFLii’s Starr LP, which also features appearances from 2 Chainz (“24 Hours“), Chris Brown, Dom Kennedy, Nipsey Hussle, E-40 and Skeme, hits stores February 3.

Master P really is in full swing with his musical comeback. First, he introduced his Money Mafia crew. Then, jumped on a song with Lil’ Wayne. Now, he pops up on a remix with Young Turk appropriately titled “Wodie.” Imagine if he put the Hot Boys back together and signed them to No Limit (stranger things have happened.)

missy elliott super bowl

Naturally, there was a few moans and groans when Katy Perry was announced as the halftime entertainment for this Sunday’s Super Bowl, but you might want to stick around for the show after all. Katy hinted that an “old school” female artist will be making a surprise appearance during a press conference yesterday, and according to the Associated Press, that special guest is Missy Elliott.

Hopefully Katy was referring to Missy’s solo joints and not their awful “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” collaboration when she told the media, “I think jaws will drop and faces will melt.” As previously announced, Lenny Kravitz will also be performing at the halftime show.

Not one to let fans down, Drake has been officially confirmed to headline the 2015 Wireless Festival — along with rap headliners Kendrick Lamar and Nicki Minaj. Back in 2014, Drizzy came down ill and was forced to cancel his Wireless gig to the huge disappoint of fans in London. But God willing, October’s Very Own will hit the stage at Finsbury Park this year.

The festival is set to kick on July 3rd with shows running until the 5th. Also headlining on the bill are EDM superstars Aviccii and David Guetta. There’s also Joey Bada$$, Logic, G-Eazy, Makkonen, Gorgon City, Clean Bandit, Duke Dumont, Grandmaster Flash and Arrested Development on the bill.

UPDATE (2/6): More artists have been added to the bill, including A$AP Rocky, Mary J. Blige, Major Lazer, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Tinashe, Pusha T, Rae Sremmurd, Robin Schulz, Collie Budz, and Stromae. Check out the updated lineup below.

oncue no way

And the award for the best video of the year so far goes to…

From Justin Bieber’s soo woo spat to “f*ck her right in the p*ssy,” OnCue adds his own creative spin to some of the best Internet memes and moments of the last few years in his new video for “No Way.” Seriously, this is so well done. The Willy Wonka one has me in tears.

“No Way” is taken from Cuey’s Angry Young Man album, which features production from Just Blaze, Hudson Mohawke and more.

It doesn’t happen all the time, but when it does, Gunplay is on point. I’m talking about the every so often when Don Logan comes through and smokes a verse. Letting his pen bleed over Beanie Sigel’s “Feel It In The Air,” the MMG rapper relives his hard times in this song.

Juicy J has been in A$AP Rocky‘s corner for a while now. Whether it’s helping with the records or just general career advice, the two seem to share a relationship that goes way deeper than hip-hop. In the wee hours of the morning, Juiceman sent out a message that lit up Pretty Flacko fans.

In a recent interview with Billboard, Rocky revealed that Dangermouse and the late A$AP Yams are also co-executive producing his forthcoming album. This should be interesting.
