“Peter Palooza” was back for a third year in a row as Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg celebrated his 35th birthday (sorry, Peter!) last week. This time around, Peter packed Times Square’s Best Buy Theater with some of the best names in indie rap, with Action Bronson, Danny Brown, Ab-Soul, Vic Mensa, Joell Ortiz, RetcH, G-Eazy and Chris Rivers, as well as ScHoolboy Q, all on the lineup for the wrestling-inspired concert.

Check out the official recap below, featuring both performance and backstage footage.

Following the release of Egos & Expectations, APB debut the video for “On The Low,” directed by Warren Credo-. Taking it back home, the Airplane boys deal with a pack of women out to hook up with them for all the wrong reasons. The group says:

“‘On the Low’ represents our playful take on when people are attracted to you for what we feel are the wrong reasons,” APB’s Beck Motley tells Billboard. “A lot of the composition and imagery you see in the video are places where we grew up at when we were on our “trial and error” dates in Scarborough, Toronto. Ultimately, we wanted the piece to feel sexy, but yet strange.”

There’s never peace in Hollywood. Just like boys in highschool, celebs duke it out over chicks too. Ask Orlando Bloom and Justin Bieber. Last night, they were filmed in a physical altercation that included Bloom swinging at the pop star. He didn’t connect, but it was all caught on iPhone.

Sources say the spat could be over Orlando’s ex-wife Miranda Kerr, who is also a model. Apparently, Bloom hasn’t been so fond of the Biebs ever since gossip columns suggested they got extra friendly after a Victoria Secret show in 2012. Oddly enough Justin’s ex, Selena Gomez, was seen with Bloom a few times after that.

It all spilled over last night in Ibiza when Bloom confronted Bieber, but in retrospect he didn’t even connect so that’s a fail. Afterwards, Justin IG’d a photo of Miranda, but quickly deleted it. You can still view it here. Witnesses are said to include Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Diddy and more.

What’s a little prank between coworkers, right? Well, last night Jimmy Fallon totally fooled The Roots when they were told to watch a trailer for 50 Shades of Grey. Let’s just say the fellas got a little more than what they bargained for.

your old droog

In case you need any more convincing that Your Old Droog isn’t some gruff-voiced alter-ego of Nas, you’ll finally be able to see the mystery man live at The Studio at Webster Hall, NYC on September 3 (see the flyer above). To get us warmed up, Droog drops this new track with fellow New York renaissance man Rast RFC (who’ll also be performing at Webster Hall, along with Timeless Truth) called “No Message.” Look out for Droog and Rast’s upcoming joint EP, too.

Take a little break from the rap overload with a very Adult Contemporary sounding cut from the legendary Smokey Robinson and Mary J. Blige. “Being With You” taps right into that feel good spot that will have your auntie doing some sort of two-step variation. The song will be featured on Smokey’s upcoming collaborators album.

Smokey & Friends is due out in stores on August 19.

lana del rey ultraviolence.jpg

You can always count on Lana Del Rey for a set of stunning visuals. Keeping in line with the retro theme of her other recent releases, Lana plays an elegant young bride swanning around the woods in the accompanying clip for “Ultraviolence,” the title track off her excellent new album.

Fabolous still has Loso’s Way 2 on the way. While his fifth solo album and first since 2009’s Loso’s Way has no scheduled release date, the Brooklyn MC caught up with MTV News to speak on recording new music with Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown. Collaboration with Chris Brown again after 2013’s “Ready,” Fab tells Nadeska Alexis to expect the record later this summer.

The two also take sometime to speak on the much-talked about single artwork to Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda,” which arrives next Monday.
