Robin Thicke loosens up the tie and gets raunchy on “Give It 2 U,” an uptempo dance cut off his upcoming Blurred Lines album. The R&B heartthrob has some explicit instructions for female listeners, as Kendrick Lamar doesn’t shy away from the sex talk with a verse of his own. Produced by Dr. Luke and co-written by will.i.am, Myspace premiered the collaboration through an interactive contest with fans.

Arriving July 30, Thicke’s sixth solo album will also feature appearances from T.I. and Pharrell. Catch Robin as he’ll be performing the current No. 1 record in the country “Blurred Lines” with TIP and Skateboard P at tonight’s BET Awards starting at 8 p.m. EST.

Hard times call for drastic measures. With his back against the wall Ace Hood rounds up the troops in “We Outchea,” a single off his upcoming Trials & Tribulations album. The YMCMB-We The Best rapper enlists director Colin Tilley for a cinematic street tale where he brings a squad with heavy artillery to get money by any means necessary. The song’s co-star in Lil’ Wayne appears along with the standard cameos from DJ Khaled and Birdman.

Due July 16, Ace Hood’s new album will feature appearances from Lil’ Wayne, Chris Brown, Rick Ross, Future, 2 Chainz, and more.

With the females covered by Ciara and Nicki Minaj during the 2013 BET Awards pre-show tomorrow afternoon, 2 Chainz and Pharrell will have the fellas covered later in the evening. The man formerly known as Tity Boi and his co-star Skateboard P will world premiere their “Feds Watching” visual on Sunday night right after this year’s awards extravaganza. While we all knew Hit-Boy was focused on getting out his own crew and label HS87, the acclaimed producer says he’s actually no longer signed to G.O.O.D. Music. During an exclusive interview with Miss Info at the 2013 BET Awards Radio room, the West Coast maestro says there’s no ill will between them and that he is a big fan of Ye’s Yeezus album. He simply states that his contract was over with the label.

“I got nothing but respect for Kanye, [but] I’m no longer a part of G.O.O.D. Music anymore.” HS87 is where my heart is, that’s what I’m reppin’.

We’re about 24 hours away from the 2013 BET Awards and Miss Info and I have been holed up in the radio room talking to the nominees. Yesterday we spoke to everyone from Kendrick Lamar, Robin Thicke, Hit-Boy, Travis Scott and more. Mr. Blurred Lines is getting ready to rock the main stage at tomorrow’s show and filled us in on what to expect from his set. He also gave us his pick for Best New Artist. Hint: the rapper is featured on his next single.

The 2013 BET Awards Nominations: Who Will Win Big This Year?


A new day means another preview of the upcoming Magna Carta Holy Grail album by Jay-Z. Following a break down of the songs “Heaven” and “Jay-Z Blue,” the rapper-mogul reveals an all-star loaded cast on “BBC.” The collaboration is set to feature Nas, Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, Swizz Beatz, Pharrell, and Timbaland.
