The 2013 Grammy Awards live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles are under way and live. Hosted for the second year by LL Cool J, the 55th annual edition kicked off with the sounds of country by Taylor Swift. The first urban performance came from Miguel and Wiz Khalifa, who walked down the star-studded aisles towards the main stage for their collaboration remix, “Adorn.”
Introduced by Beyoncé and Ellen DeGeneres, Justin Timberlake had the crowd on their feet to his “Suit & Tie” single. Jay-Z joined shortly after for his verse before J.T. performed the soulful “Pusher Love Girl.” Appearing in a black dress, Rihanna appeared to perform her “Stay” single with Mikky Ekko. The video for her current single will debut tomorrow on E!. Alicia Keys set the Grammy stage a blaze as Maroon 5 joined her for her hit single “Girl on Fire.”
Stay tuned here for more footage as we’ll update throughout the show.

Didn’t watch the show, but I see that MIguel absolutely didn’t need Wiz and the Marleys didn’t need Rihanna.

First, Fun disrespected Janelle Monae by not having her go on stage when accepting a song she was featured on and she’s sitting right behind u and then not even mentioning her onstage. Secondly, LL closing the Grammys with a new song, sorry, fail. Even the Grammys cut him off and people were exiting during his performance.
