I was laughing and filled with guilt about laughing while prepping this post, because tonite’s South Park parody of Intervention is so hilariously disrespectful, I can not take it.

But Splash said he was sending a treat, and voila! It’s an unreleased Jay-Z verse that will appear on the upcoming Evil Empire “Trending Topics 3” mixtape.

The homie DJ Scoob Doo (Lil Wayne’s videographer) was in the room for Green Lantern’s Invasion radio show on Monday, and as previously reported, it was major, with guests DJ Drama and Cam’ron promoting their upcoming Boss of All Bosses 2.5 mixtape, as well as Jadakiss promoting his upcoming “Champ is Here 3” mixtape (which drops this Saturday). But they also let the new guy, Vado, get his freestyle on….after which, Jadakiss gave his thumbs up and said “He’s one of the best new n—as I heard…but that’s why he’s with Killa, he felt a connection.

Drama: Vado what did you feel about the XXL Freshmen cover…
Vado: You seen the show, shout to everybody that didn’t make it, but that’s under the rug…(Jada: Stop it 5! Don’t worry about that cover!)”

Shout to Scoob for the exclusive ; ) there’s more to come….his new “Nino Brown 3” DVD drops on May 2

Previously: New Music: Cam’ron, Vado, & Kid Cudi “Ur Killin’ Me’” (Prod. by Alchemist)

Mikey: As usual, Yardie ripped  50 Cent’s On The Record with Fuse outtakes special. The half-hour show featured unreleased scenes from 50’s sitdown with Tourex. After the jump, Gorillaz x Bobby Womack x Mos Def perform “Stylo” on Jools Holland and Big Boi takes us through his old stomping grounds.

Mikey: DJ Premier gave VIBE some more insight into the tragic loss of Guru, the controversy surrounding Solar, and  future of the Gang Starr legacy.

On Guru’s Deathbed Letter
“Well, I would love to see that letter. I would love to see the handwriting. Because I know Guru’s handwriting like the back of my hand with all the bills we had to pay together. I know it’s not him.”

On Solar Tarnishing Guru’s Legacy
“Guru was able to get two gold albums; he was able to do the Jazzmatazz album. So everything that we gained makes you think, “You mean to tell me you are going to blow it all away and act like that’s not an important part of what made us who we are?” With a silly ass letter like that??? When you say ‘Ex-DJ’ where is my name at? Because there are two other DJ’s that was DJing with Guru besides me. There was Doo Wop and Shawn Ski, who was our backup DJ when I had to go back to college. He always held us down. Calling me the ex-DJ doesn’t mean anything to me. Why don’t you just say Christopher Martin?”

(Read more after the jump)

Related: On the topic of Guru, the sad saga continues with a shocking and disturbing HipHopDX interview with Tasha Denham, Solar’s alleged baby-mother, who claims she witnessed Solar being physically and mentally abusive towards Guru. (read more after the jump)

Mikey: Nickel Nine called into the On-Air Idiots radio show and confirmed that Slaughterhouse was indeed going to Shady. Throughout the call they also touched on the Bar Exam 3 (5/31), why he leads off most Slaughter songs, his relationship with Eminem, and why fans should praise Guru like they did with Biggie & Tupac.

“The status with the Slaughterhouse/Shady thing is that it’s pretty much done, we’re going to make an official announcement… It should probably be done within a week or so.” –Royce da 5’9

Well this is certainly moving fast….within weeks of going down to Jamaica to star in Drake’s “Find Your Love” video, and then making a public appearance with Drake at Atlanta’s Gold Room….Maliah Michele is doing press on her feelings about her boo Drake. The very Rubenesque softcore model told San Fran radio hosts that Drake is very “inspirational” and they are very close. Clearly ; )

Interview: model Maliah Michele talks to San Franciso’s Wild 94.9 about Drake

[audio:maliah michele.mp3]

UPDATE: Nation/Nahright got the supersharp ears and reminded me about Drake’s name-drop on this song “Miss Me”: “…someone tell Maliah, I’m on fiyah, she should work tonight…” Ah HA!

More photos of Drake and Maliah….plus one of Maliah’s NSFW portraits from her considerable body of work….after the jump

Before taking up residence in Hawaii last year, Kanye met up with the creators of “Family Guy”‘s (less offensive and less funny) spinoff series “The Cleveland Show” and voiced a cameo, which finally airs this Sunday. In the clip, cartoon-Kanye agrees to a little rap battle. Here’s a sneak peek. I think they missed the signature jawline with this animation. (Thanks to Dave Eitel)

UPDATE: yay! thanks MissPassion, for sending over this longer version of Kanye’s “Cleveland Show” rap.
