[Miss Info note: Mikey says OJ the Juiceman is the future GOAT of hip hop…he’ll try to deny it but I know what I heard. Le Scandal!]

[Mikey: LOL wow, never said “future goat” but OJ’s bout to be the next big thing outta the South and you can bet that, sorry Lil’ Scrappy but you waited too long & your spot just got taken.]

[Miss Info: you know you’re the president of the Juiceman Juicery Fan Club]

gucci and girls

Gucci in gucci with hoochies?

big boi

Daddy Fat Sacks smokes ciggys and has an enormous cocktail ring.

juelz 3

Juelz in long sleeves, lawnchair partner in no sleeves.

Lol, its an oddball combination. Gucci Mane, Juelz Santana and Big Boi, all together at a mansion out in Stone Mountain, Georgia…but hey, it could work. The three spent the day with hired help for the videoshoot of Gucci’s “She Got a Friend” track, which they’re all on. And somehow by the looks of the scenery, I’m guessing its not a remake of a James Taylor easy listening classic.

But stranger things have happened.

(props to the homie Harlemworld for the exclusive on-set photos)

unrelated/related: do you think Juelz tightened up when he saw Big Boi’s t-shirt?

Gotti’s Way Season 2 Trailer (www.missinfo.tv) from Miss Info on Vimeo.

this trailer for season 2 of Irv Gotti’s VH1 reality show is actually interesting…not at all because of any of the music industry posturing (lloyd?)…but only because of Irv’s wife Deb and the more relate-able situation that she faces. Of course her house and bills are paid for by her separated husband. But obviously she is taking care of the kids as a full time job. Then Irv’s presence prevents her from moving forward relationship-wise, the way that he probably does in his own bachelor pad. I notice that DMX’s wife Tashera returns as Deb’s bestie as well.

(thanks to my girl Toni Herron and Scott Accord at VH1)

The homie Heinz sez:

Some old Young Angel, Drizzy, Drake, Drizzy Drake Rogers, Jimmy, whatever you feel comfortable calling him. This is an old track during the recording of the Comeback Season Mixtape. Drake was a fan of Tanya Morgan and Von was also a fan of his (everyone that knows me, knows I’m always putting on for the city and sending everyone not from the Dot songs from artists I’m down with) so I linked them together. We couldn’t get them all in the same studio in time, so the quality of the song wasn’t great when D was putting it together with 40 for the mixtape. It eventually got scrapped, and he used his verses on another beat. Ah well. This is only 1 of 3 joints i got with them. Ha! BTW this was put together with just the references (thanks to Aeon!) so we couldn’t split up Drakes verses, this ain’t no mixtape dub (ex. “I’m Goin In”) this was O-FISH-ALL. Shout out to Boi-1da on the boards!

Drake “Right To Left” featuring Tanya Morgan (Produced by Boi-1da)

Make sure to catch Miss Info on Tanya Morgan’s new album, Brooklynati lol.

Godfree, my Gears of War teammate (we beat the hoard!) and host of the popular gaming community Gamertag Radio (www.gamertagradio.com and www.twitter.com/godfree), was visiting NYC a few months back. And we got to talking about some of the best shows that we were lucky enough to witness over the years. His “South Bronx Invades South Beach” circa 1998 is definitely a keeper….and since he was actually one of the promoters of said concert, Godfree’s been sitting on video of this superjewel all these years.

Luckily, the homie is ready to share….

Godfree says:

This show at The Temple nightclub was called “South Bronx Invades South Beach” created by DJ Khaled back in March 6, 1998. I was one of the promoters, thats why how I manage to bring my video camera to the club at that time. On this night, the lineup featuring Big Pun, Fat Joe, Cuban Link, DJ Tony Touch & also DJ Craze (the only solo DJ in history to claim the World DMC Champion trophy 3 times consecutively.) In this clip, Fat Joe performs some classic joints like “Flow Joe”, “I Shot Ya” and my favorite “Twins Deep Cover” with Big Pun. This was before Pun’s 1st album and you can hear the crowd go crazy when he comes out.

awesome : )

More tidbits about that night after the jump….

Choke No Jokes: Dame Dash’s outburst Pt 3 and Jay-Z in Puerto Rico from Miss Info on Vimeo.

Choke sent over part 3 of his clips of Dame Dash’s angry tirade vs the Def Jam staff back in 2003. Its really more of the same chest-thumping that you saw in parts 1 and 2. Whats more interesting in this behind the scenes footage is the part when Dame is talking to his staff apres-tantrum. He hears about an upcoming Jay-Z appearance at the Mixshow Power Summit in Puerto Rico for the first time. (I remember attending that year. Good times. Thanks to Rene and the rest of his staff. Alot of the artists spent their afterhours wandering away from the resort for jumpies. Was that the same year that 50 Cent debuted with Eminem? I have a terrible memory) And then Choke includes a clip from Hov’s performance. According to “insiders,” Dame scoffed at Jay’s dressed up appearance when he heard about it afterwards. And obviously the chasm between the two was growing and irreparable.

The previous Choke No Joke clips #1 and #2 after the jump….

Keep these in rotation this week for moments of Hip Hop clarity

2. Sadat X feat. CL Smooth “Nuthin”

3. Crooked I “Kind of a Big Deal Freestyle”

4. Jim Jones feat. NOE “Point of View”

(Props to the NMC, as they continue to run the new music circuit)

I wanna be on Collins Ave right now…

“We heard it leaked — God!” Pusha T said standing on Collins Avenue with his brother, Malice. “Just when we had everything in order,” Push said of the timeline to release the record, “it just happens. We’re happy Kanye got on the record. The response has been crazy. Rave reviews about it. Thanks for everybody lending an ear.”

“Kanye was in Japan somewhere [when he laid his verse]. He called and was like, ‘I’ll have your verse done in two hours.’ Two or three hours, it was done,” Push said of the collabo.

“It was just how we was feeling at the time, as far as the Clipse and a Kanye collaboration with the artwork, KAWS,” the younger Clipse member explained of the blissful, boastful content. “The name of the song is ‘Kinda Like A Big Deal’ — everything around that had to be big. It’s just how we was feeling. This third album is kinda like a big deal, the collaboration, all of that, is like a big deal.”
