I checked out the highlight from the Xbar show in the Bronx tonite, but unfortunately they didnt include the part when 50 brought out…..Remy Ma to perform Lean Back. Ouch!  He’s just twisting knives, one rival at a time, that guy.

Tonite on the Emmy’s, Kanye was with one of my favorite actors on TV, Rainn Wilson from The Office. And they, along with the black Bob Saget aka Wayne Brady, spoofed Brady’s idiotic new show “Dont Forget the Lyrics…”

and later on, Christina Aguilera performed with Tony Bennett….and that very conspicuous baby bump which she still hasn’t publicly acknowledged, lol….

She looks and sounds fantastic, definitely carrying cute.

lol, he was actually saying that to the media outlets who poorly reviewed Graduation. I cant really imagine why any journalists would say it sucked. That’s pretty absurd.

But here’s Kanye’s response to the haters, when he was on Jimmy Kimmel last night. What I really wanna see is how the following guest Jeff Garland allegedly spoofed Kanye, the photos that Fresh has up on Crunktastical are hilarious. Is it on youtube yet?

Well, folks, lets try this Xanga webcam again…I think it went well yesterday (despite some of the crass peanut gallery chat), so we’ll hang out tonite. I wont be able to read your questions on the fly…but hopefully we’ll all see something cool….like maybe some special guests pop up : )

According to outlets like Billboard, Kanye has sold more Graduation so far than 50’s Curtis.  The report says that as of Wed afternoon, ‘Ye has sold 437,000, while 50 has sold 310,000 (and country singer Kenny Chesney has sold 107,000). So…the big winner is….

UNIVERSAL! Parent company of both 50 and ‘Ye’s labels! How exciting for the already disgustingly rich European boardmembers of that conglomerate! Now lets all wait for those execs to thank us.  I’m sure a touching statement is on the way.

In the meantime….my girl Kimmy at BET sent me the recent 50 Cent interview that she did. Yes, at this point, I think I know enough about 50 to take an educated guess at his social security number, but he does have a unique way of looking at the world…

What kinds of people enjoy Kanye West?

50: A small pocket of people that aren’t a fraction of the base that enjoys 50 Cent.

You guys don’t have the same audience?

50: I don’t believe that. You know, I mean it’s a different thing. My music is, I write from a perspective that’s a little more aggressive.

So what does Kanye write about? So is it , what’s going on with him?

50: Nah, it’s interesting when you say what does Kanye write about ’cause his record, when they classify him as conscious, maybe cause of “Jesus Walks.” And they classify me as gangsta based on my writing ’cause I ain’t never been in no gang so I don’t know how I fall under gangster. But, Kanye West come out with “Jesus Walks” and returns with “Gold Digger,” which content wise doesn’t even match up to something a conscious rapper would be writing about. And then he’ll put out a record like “Wait Til I Get My Money Right,” while he got “Wait ‘Til I Get My Money Right” and I got “I Get Money.” So I’m saying “I Get Money” and it might be taken as a negative ’cause they going to interpret it me bragging at that point, but it’s just me talking about the position I’m in financially at that point right now, and they can say Kanye West is preaching prosperity.

So that’s the difference?

50: Yeah, well they can try to make it different based on whoever you ask will give you a different answer.
