2 Chainz pays homage to the Hot Boys in his upcoming video, “Used 2.” The Mannie Fresh-produced cut serves as the latest single off his B.O.A.T.S. 2: ME Time album, and on Wednesday afternoon the ATLien traveled to New Orleans’ 7th Ward to film its accompanying visual. Tributing the Cash Money Records group, members of the crew including Lil’ Wayne (with a new shorter hair cut), Juvenile, and Turk along with Mannie Fresh appeared together on set. Final group member B.G., who’s currently incarcerated, wasn’t forgotten during the shoot as 2 Chainz wore and held a “Free B.G.” t-shirt while filming.

Speaking with Rap-Up recently, the artist formerly known as Tity Boi spoke on the concept and staying true to the city’s authenticity.

“We just tryna get that whole Hot Boys feel again. I’m definitely tryna get Juvie there, a few other people if they come.

You always want to put the landscaping behind the actual authenticity of the record.”
